Vee Telecom Multimedia Co., Ltd. (formally known as Vastar cable TV system Co. Ltd.) was established in March 5, 1997. Vee was the first cable TV system operator that obtained ISO 9001 certification in Taiwan, later in October, 2003, Vee completed the two way fiber network infrastructure. In 2007, Vee has obtained the fixed network operating license for Taichung county. Following the trend of digital convergence, Vee acquired for the WiMAX operating license in July, 2007 in order to provide a better and easier seamless quadruple play service. In order to enhance performance and overall competitiveness, according to the M & A related law, Vee merged Emax and Global Network and changed its name to "Vee Telecom Multimedia Co., Ltd.", with its capital of NT$4,120,320,500

The purpose of the merger is to integrate resources and functions and to create and reorganize operating efficiency. Meanwhile, Vee is ought to seek for a better development in telecom market and to provide better quality, more affordable prices to our customers. With the WiMAX technology, Vee will fulfill mass needs and expectation by providing the “Quadruple Play Service” in the New Media Era.
